CHRYSO®Tard solutions act to delay the hydration reactions of the cement, consequently prolonging its workability, but without changing its initial consistency.
Once the setting period is over, the concrete hardens quickly, resulting in high mechanical resistance after 28 days of curing. CHRYSO®Tard agents do not have any surfactant effect on concrete, which means they do not alter its consistency or rheological behavior.

CHRYSO®Tard 50S

CHRYSO®Tard 50S slows down the hydration of cement by momentarily blocking the surface of the cement particles. At the end of setting, the concrete hardens rapidly and higher compressive strength is obtained after 28 days. CHRYSO®Tard 50S has no surface tension effects. Its use in concrete modifies in no way the consistency of concrete.   CHRYSO®Tard 50S can be used simultaneously with high range water reducing superplasticizers.  

CHRYSO®Tard 100S

CHRYSO®Tard 100S slows down the hydration of cement by momentarily blocking the surface of the cement particles. At the end of setting, the concrete hardens rapidly and higher compressive strength is obtained after 28 days. It is suitable for roller compacted concrete structures CHRYSO®Tard 100S has no surface tension effects. Its use in concrete modifies in no way the consistency of concrete. CHRYSO®Tard 100S can be used simultaneously with high range water reducing superplasticizers.
