Chryso Philippines Welcomes Delegates from Youth Inclusion Network’s LP4Y

30 May 24

Chryso Philippines, Inc. (CPI) headed by its President, Jerome Besnoux, also the Cluster Managing Director for Philippines, Hong Kong and Taiwan, re-ignites collaboration with Youth Inclusion Network (YIN)  to provide opportunities for underprivileged youths land decent internships and jobs. YIN is an international network of companies whose advocacy is into the inclusion of youth from excluded backgrounds, and through these socially progressive companies, they help alleviate poverty by giving them employment opportunities in multi-national or global companies. Through their training and development program, YIN is able to hone the youth to develop the right attitude and values, and be employment-ready in various fields and industries.

On May 28, 2024, YIN sent their delegates from LP4Y (Life Project for Youth) to Chryso plant in Paranaque with their Catalyst-Coach, Manon Issifou.  As Mr. Besnoux shared in his welcome message, “The skills you need at work can be taught and we can provide those training resources.  However, behavior is inherent and more essential for you to be successful.”

The department heads of each function imparted valuable information to the young audience that could help them choose and navigate their careers based on their interests and skills.  Delegates expressed their excitement as they took a tour around the Chryso facilities.  They identified several possible fields they would like to be immersed in and possibly want to pursue as a profession.

With this undertaking and after a successful hire of YIN alumna in 2022, CPI opens its doors again to potential interns and employees coming from YIN.
